11:20 a.m. Sky Above Lake Bluff & Lake Forest

Dede Banks took this photo, in which clouds look like there from a Van Gogh painting.

Weird weather and coincidence: Larry McCotter took a short video of ominous cloud formations swirling over Lake Bluff at 11:20 a.m. on Friday, June 29. At the exact same time, Dede Banks took a photo of the sky from Lake Forest while she was on her way to work at the Koenig & Strey office. They both submitted them to GazeboNews a short while later.

The clouds formations looked somewhat like a Van Gogh painting, but unfortunately they didn’t result in heavy rains, which are badly needed.
